Renal metastases

Renal metastases are uncommon in dogs and cats and their sonographic features can mimic primary lesions and benign lesions such as complex cysts, granulomas or abscesses. Fine-needle aspirations or biopsies are often required for confirmation. This clip describes the features of renal metastases in different dogs with histiocytic sarcoma, lymphoma, hemangiosarcoma and pheochromocytoma.
