Joint neoplasia

Ultrasound is a useful modality to investigate areas of osteolysis or new bone formation. In this dog, ultrasound allowed to confirm the presence of periarticular osteolysis and abnormal soft tissue thickening that was confirmed to represent synovial sarcoma .
