Q: What is the Small Animal Ultrasonography PREMIUM membership?
A: This 2-year membership gives access to our ENTIRE collection of +250 videos, first covering the basic concepts of an ultrasound exam and the normal abdomen anatomy and sonographic approach with 3D animations. It also provides a vast collection of annotated videos describing the normal anatomy and pathologies of the head and neck, thorax (excluding the heart), abdomen, musculoskeletal system, and some of the nervous system. The 122 videos offered with the Atlas of Small Animal Ultrasonography that cover the same regions are included and many of these have been updated. And as a bonus, this membership provides access to our archive of Time to Play exercises (42 videos)! For a complete list of the videos offered in this package, click here.
Q: Why subscribing to one of the Video Memberships if I already have access to the videos offered with the Atlas of Small Animal Ultrasonography 2nd Edition?
A: The 2nd edition of the Atlas gives access to a large collection of annotated videos covering all body parts that are routinely evaluated in practice. Since the publication of that book, we’ve been working on 70+ new videos to expand that collection, providing additional examples of common pathologies as well as adding uncommon ones not yet discussed. We also recorded videos using 3D technologies, video cameras and voice-over, to help better understanding the normal anatomy, and videos that explain important tools such as Doppler. And a useful feature that has been implemented with the new membership platform is the ability to search through the database to quickly identify videos discussing a specific topic (ex, pancreatitis).
Q: If I purchased the 1st or 2nd edition of the Atlas of Small Animal Ultrasonography, do I get a discount?
A: Yes! To account for the subset of videos already provided with the 2nd edition of the Atlas, we offer an additional discount of 100$ on the PREMIUM membership to those who have purchased a copy of the book. We also offer a 50$ discount for those who only have the 1st edition. Once you subscribe to the PREMIUM membership, send us an email within a week to smallanimalultrasonography@gmail.com with a photo of yourself with your book showing how you use it, and we’ll add a credit to your card or PayPal account. Please note that your photo might be added to our “Fan of ultrasound” page!
Q: If I’m a veterinary student, intern or resident, do I get a discount?
A: Yes! We offer a 50% discount on all video memberships to students, interns and residents. Once you subscribe, send us an email to smallanimalultrasonography@gmail.com with a photo of your valid student ID and we’ll add a credit to your card or PayPal account. If you used a discount code when subscribing, the credit will be adjusted based on the regular price.
Q: How can I pay for my video membership?
A: You can use your credit card or PayPal account. Both modes of payment are highly secure. Don’t hesitate to contact us at smallanimalultrasonography@gmail.com for any question.
Q: I live outside the United States (my currency is not USD). Can I purchase a membership anyway?
A: Yes! When your purchase is processed, the amount is automatically converted to your currency by your bank, at the current exchange rate.
Q: Do I need internet to access my membership?
A: An access to high-speed internet or smartphone data network is required for streaming the videos. Ideally, your connection should be broadband. The videos should run smoothly if your connection is relatively fast.
Q: Can I use my tablet or smartphone to view these videos if I don’t have a computer?
A: Yes! You’ll be able to watch all our videos on your iPhone, iPad, and any other type of smartphone.
Q: Why is my video not playing? Or why is there no sound?
A: Video streaming should adapt to your internet connection, but some videos could lag if your bandwidth is insufficient. And make sure to read the description for each video. Some have annotations without sound, while other videos (ex. normal abdomen) are also narrated.
Q: How long lasts the membership?
A: Each membership is valid for two years, starting at the time of payment.
Q: Can I pause my membership?
A: Pausing a subscription is not possible, but you can cancel it and subscribe again later, when you are ready. Be aware that if you currently have a discounted membership, you might not get the same price once you come back.

Q: Do you offer discounts for veterinary clinics or academic institutions?
A: Please get in contact with us if you want to expand this knowledge to your staff, colleagues or students. We offer discounts for the purchase of multiple subscriptions. Just write an e-mail to smallanimalultrasonography@gmail.com for any inquiry on that matter.
