Peritoneopericardial diaphragmatic hernia in two cats

Peritoneopericardial diaphragmatic hernias (PPDH) are more often seen in cats, commonly as an incidental finding. The herniation of liver parenchyma, gallbladder, spleen, fat and sometimes GI tract can be misinterpreted as a cardiomyopathy, pericardial effusion or a thoracic mass.
