I was able to identify the left limb of pancreas because of the prominent feline pancreatic duct. Large intestine could be seen proximal to it and few small intestine loops. Pancreas looks normal in echogenicity but the size of the lobe is variable along its length. In the cranial part the width of the lobe is smaller compared to the mid section and in the caudal part, it again becomes smaller. Is there any pancreatic atrophy? or the enlarged part is actually normal or the enlarged part is pathologic. Most likely, this is not the cause of elevated liver enzymes as the echogenicity is normal and no abscess or cyst can be seen in the lobe shown

Dilated Pancreatic Duct.

Pancreatic left limb is visible. It is thin, long and mild irregular. The pancreático duct is prominent but not surprising for a 14 years old cat. There is not peritoneal hyperechogenicity. Other cause?

I agree on the difference in size between the left lobe of the pancreas and the body, even if it seems to me reduced in volume in its entirety. I believe that there are also differences in the homogeneity of the appearance of the parenchyma, perhaps of the small cystic areas. perhaps a consequence of a previous insult of the organ? I cannot understand if the pancreatic duct is dilated or not, being a cat and because I don't think I have a correct organ volume to make a comparison

The pancreas is visible with a prominent and dilated pancreatitc duct. The parenchyma is nodular and heterogeneous. The surrounding fat is normal. The visible loops of small intestine, and the kidneys are normal. There is a small hyperechoic nodule in the spleen which is likely a benigin myelolipoma. The visible portions of the liver in the loop are unremarkable. The duodenum is normal as well as the region of the duodenal papilla. This is likely benign pancreatic nodular hyperplasia seen in old cats. A dilated pancreatic can also be seen in old felines. These findings do not explain the lab findings.
